ElectricianMatch

Receive homeowner electrical requests in your service area

ElectricianMatch is a referral service. Homeowners pick a job and give a ZIP code, and we send the request to one electrical company that serves it. If you want those requests for the work and ZIP codes you choose, this page says what we send, what it costs and how to apply.

What we send you

A request carries the job the homeowner picked (emergency, panel upgrade, outlets and switches, EV charger, generator, lighting, rewiring, ceiling fan, surge protection, inspection or smoke and CO alarms), the ZIP code, the homeowner's name, phone and email, the time of the request and the consent wording they agreed to. The homeowner has agreed to be contacted by one company, by phone call and text, and the consent line names ElectricianMatch and says it is one company.

We do not send the same request to a list of bidders. If you use a referral partner to place calls for you, tell us when you apply, because the consent wording covers a partner acting for the company that receives the request.

What it costs

You pay per request delivered: [per-lead price]. There is no contract and no share of the job. You quote the work, keep the customer and are paid by the homeowner. You can pause delivery at any time, by service or by ZIP code.

What to expect from the requests

These are homeowners who asked for help with a specific job, and some will not pick up, some will already have found someone, and some will be after a price and nothing else. We do not promise a number of requests per week, and we do not promise any request will become a job. Our pages tell homeowners what to check first and when a job needs no electrician, so some of the people who reach the form will have already narrowed the problem down.

How to apply

Write to support@electricianmatchusa.com with the company name, your electrical contractor license number and issuing state, the services you want and the ZIP codes you serve. We look the license up with the state's public lookup before anything is switched on, and we ask you to confirm the details on a call. If a license does not show as active, we do not turn delivery on. That check is part of onboarding; it is not a promise to homeowners about any company.

In return, we ask that you answer a homeowner's questions about licensing and permits directly. The guides on this site tell homeowners to ask for your license number and to check it, and to expect a permit where the work needs one. Where a state licenses electrical work, working without the license the job requires is an offense, and we will stop sending requests to a company if we learn that it does.

What we ask of partners

  • Call the homeowner from a number that identifies your company, and say who you are.
  • State the price, or the way you price, before you send anyone to the house.
  • Pull the permit where the work needs one, say so in the quote, and have any required inspection done before the utility connects service equipment.
  • Stop contacting a homeowner who asks you to, and tell us.
